Counterparty Monitoring

Your own wallet being clean is only half the picture. This watches the wallets that send you money and receive money from you, and tells you when one of them is blacklisted — before that becomes your problem.

How it sees your wallet

You give the bot one address. It works out, from on-chain transfers, everyone that address has traded stablecoins with — that inner ring is depth 1. Their own counterparties form the outer ring, depth 2. When any watched wallet is frozen, you hear about it.

Setting it up

Open the bot and press Start

Open @USDTBanBot and tap Start, or send /start if you have used it before. The main menu appears.

Tap 👥 Counterparties

It is the left-hand button of the third row, paired with 📋 Monitoring. Two different features that sit side by side: Monitoring watches your address, Counterparties watches everyone it deals with.

The counterparty screen opens with its own counter, Tracked: 0/20. Both networks are supported, and you choose nothing — the bot recognises TRON or Ethereum from the address itself.

Send the address

Paste the address as a plain message. This is the address whose circle you want watched — typically your own trading or payout wallet.

ℹ️ Shortcut

/addcounterparty TR7NHq… does the same thing without opening the menu. This command is not listed in the Telegram command menu, so it is easy to miss.

Confirm, then open the monitor

The bot confirms and starts discovering counterparties immediately. Back on the counterparty screen your monitor is now listed: 🟢 means active, ⚫ means paused, and the tag shows the network.

Switching to depth 2

Depth is set per monitored address, not once for the account. Tap 📋 List All, then tap the monitor itself — the list is tappable, which the screen hints at with “Tap a monitor to view details”.

⚠️ Depth 2 widens the net fast

Each of your direct counterparties has counterparties of their own, so the watched set multiplies. A freeze two hops away also says far less about you than one hop away. Turn it on deliberately, for an address where indirect exposure actually matters, and leave the rest at depth 1. The same button switches back.

Reading the alert

A counterparty alert names the frozen wallets first, then reminds you which of your addresses they are connected to — because you may be monitoring several.

Banned counterpartiesThe wallets that were just frozen. There can be several — bans arrive in waves.

Your addressWhich of your monitors this relates to.

Depth1 means they dealt with you directly. 2 means they are one further hop away.

EventBlock, UnBlock or DestroyFunds — frozen, released, or balance burned.

StatusExecuted means it is on-chain and final. Pending means submitted but not yet confirmed.

What to do when one fires

Check whether the funds reached you

Paste the banned address into 🔍 Check Address, or look it up on the site. What matters is whether that wallet sent you anything, and when.

Trace the connection

🔗 Trace Connections shows the transfer path between your wallet and the flagged one, including the hops in between.

Stop dealing with that wallet

A blacklisted counterparty cannot move its balance, so a payment you are expecting from it will not arrive.

Common questions

What counts as a counterparty?

Any wallet that has sent stablecoins to your monitored address, or received them from it. The bot works this set out from on-chain transfers — you never have to list anyone by hand.

What is the difference from wallet monitoring?

Wallet monitoring watches your own address and tells you when it is frozen. Counterparty monitoring watches the people your address deals with and tells you when one of them is frozen — which is usually the earlier signal, and often the reason your own address ends up under scrutiny.

Do I need to own the address I add?

No. Monitoring is read-only: no keys, no signature, no permission from the owner. You can watch any address whose dealings you care about.

How many addresses can I monitor this way?

Twenty, on both the free and the Premium plan.

Does depth 2 produce a lot of noise?

It can. Every wallet you deal with has its own counterparties, so the watched set grows quickly and a ban two hops away says much less about you than one hop away. Start at depth 1; move to depth 2 for an address where indirect exposure genuinely matters.
